General Questions

First, we understand that this maybe difficult to make that call. This is brand new to you and with anything that we have tried for the first time, you don’t know what to expect. We will guide you through this process and ask you questions regarding your situation. Our hope is that after you have talked to us, your mind will be a little more at ease to the process. At this point this would be considered an “Intake.”

An “Intake” is the initial assessment of your needs. We ask you basic questions of your circumstances. Such as the days and times you were granted by the Courts to have visits. The number of children involved. Their ages. The area of where the visits might take place. How much the fee is. The reasons why the Courts order supervised visits. This will also give us the opportunity to match you with the right monitor.

If we are a good match for your visitation service needs,  we will take it to the next step which is an “Orientation.”

“Orientation” is when we meet with you as well as the other party separately. We meet somewhere where you feel the most comfortable (Your home or at a public place).

At orientation we discuss, in further detail, your circumstances. We will also present to you with documentation necessary to start visits.

Also during orientation, we would like to meet your child(ren), in the hopes that this will possibly decrease any anxiety for them when the visits commence.

After orientation, the process of visits gets underway. Your assigned Visitation Monitor will get the process started on initializing the visits. He or she will coordinate with both parties as where, among other things, will be the meeting point.

Your assigned Visitation Monitor and the first few visits

During the intake, we will decide who would best fit your circumstances. Many factors come into play such as the ages of the children, the reason for supervised visits, the area of where the visits will take place just to name a few of the determining reasons.

As explained on our “About Us” page, each one of the monitors meet all expectations dictated by the Court. Every monitor has received additional training to meet the needs of your case. As explained as well, they carry college degrees in the field of Humanities.

Understandably there maybe some feelings of awkwardness in the beginning. This is understandable. This maybe new to you and your child. Given our experience providing this service, everyone will  eventually get settled with this scenario.

We do not. Although having a facility can be and is necessary at times, we believe to capture the most natural interaction between child and parent, we should have a setting that is in the most natural environment.
